....and all at once summer collapsed into fall

I know it is a little bit too late to share one of the best Taiwan's Coral Island in this kind of sweater weather. But since Taiwan do not really has fall and the winter here is not too cold, I think you can try to have some beach vacation during fall-winter season.

Little LiuQiu is the only Island that I have ever visited in Taiwan archipelago (of course beside the main island). I went there by boat from DongGang Harbor from Pingtung county. This island area is only about 6.8 km². Therefore, you do not really need a tour guide. Tourist usually rent a motorcycle and stroll around by themselves. It only takes about 2 hours to explore the whole island.

In this island, they serve several type of accommodation.

1. Campsite
If you're a real backpacker you can choose to sleep on the campsite, it only cost about 200NT for weekday and 300NT for weekend. The campsite is called Samaji campsite, it is located by the sea. They will provide the tent and sleeping bag for you, and of course you have to build your tent by yourself.

2. B&B
On my last trip I chose to spent my short escape at B&B, they usually include BBQ, snorkeling and motorcycle rent in their package. It's such a good compact package. (some package also included boat/ferry ticket)

In this Island people mainly do snorkeling and scuba diving (you can meet sea turtle and look at the beautiful coral reef there), eat fresh seafood, visited some scenic spot (i.e : black dwarf cave, flower vase rock, etc)
